The encounter with country takes many forms. Some seek open spaces, a truly spiritual culture, whilst others seek a true environment and clear skies…

For Corey Thomas, the first encounter occurred at a field of genetically modifed canola, just west of the South Australian border -

Along the vistas of Lake Hart Salt Lakes, the artist had gone bush and left a stunning record of his visit.
